Just wondering if it's necessary to access the ABS pump (and remove all the plastics to do so!) when bleeding the brakes on my K26 2013 RT? Yes, I know one needs a Hex wossname too!

None of the Youtube vids I've seen do so. :nenau

You don't need to take off the side fairing panels. You can just bleed the brakes from the brake calipers in the normal way. The hexcode gs911 will allow you to bleed the abs unit, for a more thorough job!

As above , the gs911 facilitates the abs pump bleed , by making the pump run and buzz , to dislodge any small air bubbles .
However, that said , I’ve heard that ABS pump bleed is not routine at BMW dealerships, during fluid bleed .
Perhaps someone can confirm this ?
