Afternoon Comrades.
I'll be heading from Blyth tomorrow morning via Woodhorn Museum and then finding a scenic route to Hexham.
We'd like to find somewhere between the museum and Hexham that does a nice Sunday lunch but serves after 2 PM.
Any recommendations please?

I like the Black Bull in the centre of Corbridge
Log fires, cosy with good service & great beer & food
Used it a few times

Corbridge is a nice place. Plenty of choice from bakeries, cafes and a few pubs like the Black Bull - Sunday roasts from £13.49

I like the Carts Bog Inn. It’s a few miles past Hexham but worth it for the name, location/views, and Bog Pie (a Desperate Dan sized cow pie they do).

The Rat at Anick is regularly highly recommended and featured in the 'best of' lists. Maybe difficult to get a table though. Ideal location for you I'd think

We spent far more time at the museum than I'd envisaged so we ended up eating here at around 4PM:-
