Easter Rally - Valburg Valburg - the Netherlands - april 7-10 2023

Our tradional Easter Rally for GS-riders will take place at Watergoed Valburg, Tielsestraat 129. 6675AC Valburg.

On this weekend we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Friday april 7

• At 14:00 the campsite will open, pitch your tent somewhere on the field.
• For campers and caravans there's a designated parking place.
• Bar opens at 15:00, closes at 00:30.
• Evening dinner (combi-buffet Oriental/Italian) at 18:00 in the barn.
• Afterwards music and drinks.

Saturday april 8

• Breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 in the barn.
• From 10:00 to 15:00, several tours (on/allroad) available.
• From 15:00 to 18:00, activities on de campground Watergoed.
• Evening dinner (BBQ/Hogroast) at 18:00 in the barn.
• Afterwards music, drinks and lottery.

Sunday april 9

• Easter breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00.
• From 10:00 to 15:00, several tours (on/allroad) available.
• From 15:00 to 18:00, activities on de campground Watergoed.
• Evening dinner (French cuisine, the chef promised to make something special, without frogs) at 18:00 in the barn.
• Afterwards music and drinks.

Monday april 10

• Breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30.
• At 12:00 the raly ends.

Activities
Still planning some activiteis like trial-riding and all-road course, updates will follow
At Watergoed there's a 4x4 track as playground for the weekend.
You can pick up the TET route near the campsite.
Several stands with GS-related parts and gear.

We did a lot of the Dutch/Belgian Easter Treffen in the '00s and this venue, Watergoed @ Valburg was the best by far

I’m very tempted. I’m scheduled to finish my next job on the 4th April returning home on the 5th so there’s no way they’ll put my name down for any jobs the weekend this is happening. The holding point is that my job might run over and even a day would be a show stopper because I’m going to be in Israel and there’s no way I can do Tel Aviv - Heathrow - Manchester then grab the bike and get to Harwich for an overnight crossing in a single day.

I’ll see how the job goes, we finished the last one 10 days early so miracles do happen and there’s a better chance of it happening on this job than normal because my first 5 days on site are standby days in case they get me access to my part early.

This place is the best venue I have ever been to with me bike.
Camping was great
Course was unbelievable sandy and open all day (as I recall)
Host was brilliant= he offered me his KTM
