Hi,

Forum noob here.

Running a 2012 R1200GS TU for the past 4 years. What a great machine!

Made a couple of changes - Hex Ezcan, auxillary lights & brake light, USB port, winglets, engine bars, new horn...

Things I would change if I could: Tank range. 150 miles most of the time. up to 180 on longer trips. Not that good for a touring bike! Heated grips. Tried retro-fitting Oxford grips but gave up! Just got heated gloves which do the trick.

Which forum do I post questions about the bike in - watercooled or hex head?

If it’s a 1200TU it’s a hexhead.
No doubt someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
Had one for 10 years- great bike!

Doncaster is a big city now

And we dont have clean air zones

North Notts/ Doncaster would put him Blyth/Bawtry neck of the woods ish perhaps
