Nice low mileage Kalahari in the garden now

Happy as a pig in shit ! Yes I really am :drool:drool

It has a couple of bits that are a bit crappy but generally it’s excellent. Only 4100 miles from new .

Here’s my newly acquired basic. It’ll get a full rebuild next winter but for now I’m going to run it as is.

lovely bike those small tanks look great . wheels look in good nik . does it really need a full rebuild ?

Frame could do with a powder coat and the engine/gearbox exterior needs a major clean up, but overall it’s not bad. The previous owner had the wheels polished and respoked, and the bodywork repainted, but lost interest before tidying up the frame and engine

Recently sold my G/S and replaced it with this lovely machine.

Great ride around Rutland. The
Welland Viaduct at Seaton is a fantastic piece of engineering. 30 million bricks in its construction apparently.

Wow they don’t come any cleaner than that. What a great find .Stunning :okay

That is an awesome looking bike. To my eye I think the small tank on the basic is a better looking bike than the kalahari with the big tank.....just seems right somehow. Enjoy.

Thanks for the kind comments. The small tank has its charms but the big tank certainly adds presence and useful range.

Florence, I really like the pannier set up on your bike and would like to replicate it on mine. Can you tell me where you got the frames/boxes from please?
