Yesterday I had new tyres put on the bike (TKC70's) and fitted a centre stand from HeavyDuties

Simple to fit but the springs were a bugger.

Now, putting it on the stand proved to be a right pig. I'm old, but I don't think I'm a weakling and usually it is just technique.
But, the back wheel is 95-100 mm of the ground so something is not right!

They say I deffo have the correct stand, (The R version should be longer, obvs), and the rear wheel should be about 50mm off the ground.
So, has it been lowered? How can I check that other than measuring seat hight and ground clearance?
Getting the wife to measure from the ground to sump guard comes out at 22.5 cm, give or take. Book says it should be 23.5.
The forks are up to the 3rd ring through the triple clamps.

Anyone here got a 790 S or even an R with a centre stand?

If so, can you measure from the pivot point to the ground for me and report back please?
Mine is 340 mm give or take to the ground.
TIA

Problem solved by buying a KTM unit :blast
Their stands are 325 mm, pivot to floor.
