Dreaded fuel gauge

Hi I have a 2010 twin cam gs last week ran my fuel down to 10 mile left all ok but today went and filled up and gauge doesn’t work got it all in bits and I have the float type sender can’t see anything wrong and can’t get any reading working it manually any ideas before I start spending

The float type is a 0 to 100 ohm potentiometer check it with a multimeter.

I notice my tc fuel gauge seems a bit reluctant to show the increase in range when I fill it up
