Fuel cap locking

Ok. 68 plate gs1250 32000 miles on it . Not done by me.

But anyway noticed today the fuel cap doesn't lock when I put on the steering lock. ??
I assume it should?
Anyone else had the problem?
Or is a fix available somehow
Or just leave it alone and get on with riding it

Assuming you have keyless the cap is unlocked when you turn the ignition off and you have 2 minutes when you can open the fuel cap so it might just be you're doing this within that period? Have you tried leaving it for more than the 2 minutes to see if the cap is no longer unlocked?

Known failure on the LC versions -

if under warranty it will be fixed

Well seems to have sorted itself out.?
As now working as it should.
Very strange will just keep an eye on it and see what happens.
But yes still under a warranty
