Mini review for the LR side stand foot extension.
I had mine about a year or so, and the foot of the side stand had moulded its shape into the foot extension. I contacted LR about this, to ask if it was how its meant to wear or if the part was defective. The response from them is that it was not usual wear & tear, and as it has a 2 year warranty i got a new replacement one - with a new 2 year warranty.
It looks to be a new design with the base of the foot now having a stainless steel base plate rather than hardened aluminium.
It's been solid the whole time i've used it on tarmac, gravel, or grassy fields/mud when out camping. I've rarely needed to use anything else to help support it as it spreads the weight so well.
Props to LR for sorting it out so quickly!
