Hi guys. I would appreciate your help.

I.want to safely remove the small plug that connects to top of the spark plug coil. I've looked on YouTube but it all looks 'cloak and dagger'.I have ordered the removal tool, I just need advice on how I remove the small.plug safely. Please see the pic of the small plug and top of the coil.

Thanks

John

Hi, it’s just a normal connector, if memory serves push the grey bit in and pull apart. You need to undo the bolt holding the earth on
Then you slide the tool over the coil and pull, I found one side came out easy, the other I nearly pulled the bike over

Thanks guys for your replies. I got there in the end.
I pulled out the grey wedge lock and then pulled the plug off from the coil. This was really tight. The coil stem pulled put by hand quite easily and had been well coated with silicone grease.

Again, thank you for your responses and help with this. Great forum.
