Speedo (Again)

Geronimo, my eleven hundred is still not turning the speedo. Replaced the cable (it was broken) making sure is engaged down at the rotor and at the instrument. Nada, niente, nothing. And yes, I tried with the bike at speed. Any suggestions? By the way, Howard, first you install the new one and only then remove the old one. capisce? Yosi

Take the speedo cable out of the speedo but leave it connected to the rotor in the front wheel. With Geronimo on the centre stand spin the front wheeland look at the end of the cable. Is the inner cable turning? If it is then the problem is the speedo, if it isn't then the problem is the rotor on the front wheel. I'll bet it's the latter

Thanks, Paul. You are right (as usual) . A carefull look at the wheel end of the system revealed that the flat connector does not turn with the wheel so it must be the rotor. To be replaced this week end. Yosi
