I think I’ve asked this on here before ,when I type in a destination on my garmin xt or any other garmin device it always asks for a street address when all I want is the town village ,anyway around this quirk.

The answer:

I want a city / town, not a street - How do I do it?

I may have asked this before but when setting a place name for a destination it always asks for a street when I only want the town / city as a place on a route ,is there anyway of bypassing this function.
