OK, well... I've got two exhaust headers...
so if I fit each one differently and then wait to find out which one falls off I'll then know the best method!

And proper Dunstall Decibel replicas are long, fit easily even to to a /7 where they have to get over the brake pedal , look good, sound good and work OK too.
I can well imagine that the pipe fitted to my SS50 (30 years ago) had no 'Dunstall' components at all, except a peeled-off and stuck-on sticker, but it made the bike sound hilarious, and backfire brilliantly on the overrun.
