Why ?

I've noticed if I start my 2002 single Spark GS on it's side stand, using the "fast idle" device, then stand it upright, the idle slows as I stand the bike up off the sidestand.
To the point if it's just started and not in the slightest warmed up, it has occasionally stalled.
The bike seems to run fine and have no problems, so just wondered what would cause this to happen?
Any ideas?

Is there a commensurate movement of the fast idle lever, or is it still in its extended position?

Fast idle in "middle" position, after start. Doesn't seem to move any ...

Never noted the fuel level, but could be the same (which is nice to know....Cheers)
