Anyone any experience of the low suspension XR - is it much lower, is the handling affected, do the pegs (or anything else) touch down, is the low seat as comfortable, does the hp seat help or does it raise the height, etc?

Thanks.

Not got the factory lowered bike.
Installed the Soupys adjustable rear link and lowered the bike by 25mm.

I have the low suspension model. It is probably only an inch lower, but it makes a difference for me. I fitted the HP gel seat that again you can get in a lowered version, and in actual fact I understand it will be fitted as standard for 2018. I wouldn't say that handling is any different. It handles, and that's it!

I've got the factory lowered bike, low seat and all is perfect. Pegs certainly don't ground and looking at my tyres I've been way over. Seat is all day comfy, much better than my old GS seat, did a tour of Scotland in May with 8-9hr days in the saddle and no numb bum at all and I've got very little padding.

Altered suspension height seems to be a question always asked by insurers when you declare aftermarket suspension.......

I'd always recommend telling them of altered height (in case anyone hasn't)
