Just for my peace of mind have I done the right thing. Today on my 1100 gs I was fitting quick release fuel connectors. When I put it all back together I noticed a leak on one off the black plastic small narrower pipes the ones that disappear under the air box.so I've had to cut it about an inch and a half to where there is no leaking and slide the metal tube back into it so it will attach to the fuel line with a clip. I've made the fuel line longer to compensate the shorter length of the small black pipe. I've started the bike and no leaks everything seems to be ok will this make a difference to how much fuel is running through the engine. Hope yous all understand this
