I think the theme for the weekend war rain rain and craic

from arrival on Friday, the Dent micro climate showed how to cram as many seasons into a 60 minute window as possible on an ever repeating cycle

still it gave us something to talk about.

The clear start this morning was far from clear, and i ended up packing a sodden tent into its bag before starting my run home.

Typically as soon as i turned onto the motorway, the rain stopped, and the weather got warmer and drier

Managed to dry the tent and groundsheet before repacking into the drybag, ready for Portsoy

Good to meet some old faces, and some new,

Steve, i did see you wave as i left, i was just trying to avoid the impending rain lol

Dent weekend

Brilliant weekend Micky and thanks to all who were so welcoming again. When all said and done where would you find a more handsome bunch of old farts to talk bollocks with for a couple of days?

Possibly Portsoy I suppose.

I also packed up in the dry after my excellent breakfast in the Sun Inn and didn't get wet on my trip home.



A brilliant weekend and a top evening of single malt and beer on Saturday evening.
Great company, great location, great craic and a great time.

We stopped off at the borders on Sunday night ( only slightly moist ) and carried on home Monday...Damp until Bankfoot, wetter to Grantown and then totally pished it down for the last leg home.
Still totally worth it for all the craic

Great W/E once again. many thanks to Micky and Sue. Special thanks to Alistair for 70% convincing Joanne why we need a camper van. She's not quite there yet, but interested in looking.
Dropped my bike off at Teasdales in Thirsk on the way home for it's first service. Andy lent me a 22plate KTM 1290 super duke R. NO, it will definately not be my next bike. I can barley walk this morning and it is very very tall.
