2008 1200 Adventure BMW alarm , remotes appear not to speak to bike ?
One remote had new battery fitted in dealer today , red light blinks when button pressed . Other remote light remains constant red while buttons are pressed Neither remote will activate alarm , any suggestions ?

Did the dealer not plug it in and look at what the alarm was doing/seeing?

You should be able to arm disarm with the ignition. Doesn't help your remotes but it could prove or write off the alarm.

Mine still works, switches off with the ignition and flashes the dash warning for a while if it is triggered. But its hardly loud enough to wake a cat sleeping on the seat so as long as it stays switched off I wont be working about it..

They are a bit crap sound wise. No wonder they aren't insurance approved.
