Just had a three day ride around the borders with my pal Steve. He has a very trick paralever converted to G/S Paris Dakar looky likey. We covered 850 miles from Nottingham to Elsdon to Gatehouse of Fleet to Nottingham. All bar the first bit up to Doncaster on A and B roads. The bikes were perfect, mine returned 47 mpg Steve’s was returning about 52 mpg. Both bikes are 1000cc with 32mm carbs. The ride back from Gatehouse of Fleet was one of the best days riding I’ve had for a long time.
