I'm considering the option to join a friend mid-France, ride across the Pyrenees and return via ferry Bilbao-Portsmouth. Towards the end of April.
I've taken the ferry in the other direction a few years back. Sailing from Bilbao would be at 7pm. I forgot how much earlier one has to be for the boarding procedure – need to calculate that into potential route planning.
I'm not particular/anal about strapping the bike down. I just want to be there in time as they require or what is advisable to, park it, get to my cabin and sleep.
