I'm considering picking up a 1250GS

I already have a full set of Givi Outback panniers which I use on another bike, so I'll probably use them on the GS (if I get it!)

According to the Givi website to install these rails you need to relocate the rear indicators, but in the back of my mind I seem to recall that this instruction is a sop to law in the USA regarding indicator location with panniers. If I remember correctly this law does not apply to Europe and the indicators do not interfere with the panniers, are easily visible and do not contravene European law.

So the basic question is:-

Has anyone out there fitted Givi Outback Panniers on their GS and not relocated the indicators?

Cheers

Mike

Mine arent relocated. And everything works and fits as id expect it too.

This is best pic I can find of the rear just now. But you can make out the indictators in their normal position without the extension brackets.

I’ve just taken a set of the Givi quick release pannier mounts of my recently p’exd 21 GS. Not for the outback panniers but the monokey type.
The indicators were supposed to be re sighted but I never bothered.
