Hi , i have found a used set of vario panniers and topbox on line but the seller states that they are locked shut with no key , how easy is it to get them unlocked ,

It was easy enough for me when I encountered the same situation
I asked the Sales Manager at my local BMW dealer (NOG) if I could go through the keys in the sales cabinet until I found a key that unlocked the panniers. The seventh key I tried did the trick and once unlocked I was able to remove the lock and code it to my key

Don’t drill them out- obviously you’ll wreck the lock but you’ll most likely wreck the internal housing parts.
As suggested above, try various keys. If you can find one that seems less solid in the lock when you try and turn it then apply some force and chances are one of them will persuade it open.

excellent, ask the seller to sell you stolen keys as well as panniers
