Zumo 550

I'm new to the sat nav gear.

My question is the 550 has an Garmin SD card with European maps on it, as its a US version. Does this SD card need to stay in the unit as I would like to load music as well, or am I stuffed re loading music to the 550 ?

To get the whole of Europe (tip top to bottom, east to west) you will need to load the detailed maps onto an SD card.

Depending on the size of the SD card, you'll also be be sable to load some music files on, too.

Copy all of the files from your SD card to a BIGGER SD card, then add your music as an addition.
Officially It'll only handle a 2GB card, but mine works fine with a 4GB card and others report Ok with 8GB
Catds are cheap as chips now so try an 8GB for a laugh
