How to find an old Krauser key ~

Thanks Neil but can’t seem to see any numbers!
I’m sure my sight’s deteriorating but even so!:blast

Those locks don't have numbers. They use the same keys as the K series bikes......... basically, just insert any K series key and turn very forcibly. You've now converted/coded the lock to work with your key :D

Thanks for your help again Neil - unfortunately I’ve not got any keys from the several K series bikes I’ve owned!
Anyone local to Derbyshire able to help?

I have those panniers on my 1992 R100R.

I can bring my keys over after Monday or I plan to be at Scarcliffe on Tuesday evening.

I will pm you my number.

Gerry

Big thanks to Gerry (Tbolt) for bringing his pannier keys to Scarcliffe last night where we confirmed Steptoe’s wisdom.
He kindly lent me the key and I got 2 new ones cut today.
Many thanks all and especially Gerry:bow:bow

Good to see you again Richard and the advice from experts like Steppers is what makes this a great forum :thumby:
