The frame and associated parts were thought to have been powder coated.
Not so,
Rattle cans are us.:comfort
So I’ve shipped the whole lot straight to the powder coaters,

Lookin Good Mike ... watching with interest.....
Just bought a 1988 80 GS from 'Hogie' which I want to start soon...

Someone has obviously gone to some trouble and spent money on the engine,
Why would you not fit stainless tubes:nenau.
They were not very tight when I knocked them out which would lead me to think the originals were reused:confused:

Hey Mikey,
What was the deliberate mistake in pic 9 on page 1?

Probably the rocker thingies with the dots on the top the wrong way around so the oil wouldn't get through.

That's my guess.

Dots to upper and outer is the right way :hide:

#RockerPosts

Plus they were a bit far in with the studs!! Not many threads protruding!! :blast
