Just for information, 2 days ago friend try to start bike, key fob no good so I change battery, now key fob good, then try to start bike, nothing comes, so I try battery booster, nothing comes, so I charge battery overnight, check volt 12.6 ok, try to start nothing comes, check volt now 11.7 after 1 try start, try battery booster nothing comes, so story says when battery is dead even battery booster will not start bike, today new battery comes fit on bike, and bike start first time.

Same experience with 2014 GSAW. 14 months on an Optimate 4 charger/maintainer and battery didn't survive well.
While you are in there. Check for chafing on the power cables. Found some on mine, from the + connection same side as bat -.

There is a lot of extra battery there compared to what you took out
Yes it surprise me at first, I think wrong battery, but no it was correct new model.
