Had a quick ride round the back of Ashbourne today - just finding my feet on the new steed.

They look great, ideal for this weather. I'm going to look at one this weekend, any pointers on things to look for ? (its a E model).

I’m No expert-
E model may mean it’s done a bit more off road.
Swing arm bushes seizing.
Damage around front sprocket and engine casing - if chain has come off.
Fork seals
Normal stuff really - but if your looking then most will be obvious.
Good look
Let me know if you fancy a ride out some time - I’m only on Swadlincote.

Different carb, gearing, should have grease nipples on swingarm bearings and head bearings (I think). Simpler electrical loom, no radiator fan, no dash/indicators, plastic tank (and different tank fitting on the frame). Different exhaust and headers size. Engine is slightly more powerful. Forks should differ too, according to bike age.
