It's raining! Not hard, and no more than us toughies from the north are used to.
Very good breakfast in the hotel, and our into the drizzle..



The hotel is on the left...very comfy..welcome shower after the travelling.

Few minutes round the corner and into the undercover Mercato Centrale....bemusing amounts of fish, meat, cheese, salumi....everything...well worth a visit on a damp morning...

The beef is sold according to breed of coo...

The signature 'bistecca fiorentina' should be of the chianina breed, at least 3 fingers thick, cooked rare, and sold by the kilogram...not for the veggies among us!

One of the specialities is a panini lampredotto...a roll full of innards...
