I used my bike with a 2610 attached, last night and I forgot how a no fuss, simple and uncomplicated thing it was to use
Somebody else led so I just left it to scroll and all the tiny roads in the Wolds we were using, came up perfectly at 0.5m zoom setting
Road travelling speed
Elevation
Road name
Time
Direction
Track up
Etc were displayed on the right side of screen, just imposed over the map
Once we split to return home, I set it to home and it picked a decent, sensible route home without drama & fuss, displaying miles to destination & eta & distance/time to each turn as they came up ahead & a big arrow to heading direction
Been using a Zumo XT on my Tenere lately & what a bizarre & complex thing that can be
Sometimes………. less is more, in life & progress doesn’t necessarily mean better
