Help: Paypal to Wrong Address??

Hi
One of the members from this parish was sending me money by Paypal.
I've made a typo on the email address (left one letter out) so he's paid the wrong person with an almost identical name as mine.

Is it possible to retrieve a paypal payment sent in error?

At the moment I can only hope that the person who recieved it in error is honest enough to cancel it or refund it...

you need to ring paypal ASAP, its different if the money is just hanging out there in a "not claimed" state cause of a typo, but if somebody else has it you need to get onto them straight away

the irish paypal telephone number is available from the website after you log into the paypal.

I've had a look on the paypal website and it looks like you could be right. They don't care.
As I'm expecting to recieved the money, there's little I can do. I'm waiting to see if the guy who's sent it has any luck.
I can only hope the guy who's email address it went to doesn't have a Paypal setup with this address and the money's sitting in limbo somewhere (small chance though as everyone has a account)
