My 2021 R1250GS 40 Year Megamoto

Totally love it, I really like the 17 inch front wheel and mudguard, is it an easy swap?

I done it twice now and can swap the whole thing over in a morning.

The kit originally came from Germany but is no longer available.

Sorry not my cup of tea,

The wheels for me, just dont work i'm afriad (Colour not size)

Yellow wheels need either a Green /White main colour, or all Red main colour

Reggie I don't know about your health issues but all the best to you and enjoy your new bike.It looks good for sure :thumb2

Well, I think the wheels look great. Black wheels on anything just look shite IMO as the wheel and tyre just become an amorphous blob.
White cars with black wheels which seems to be in vogue just look like black steelies with the trims missing and when parked up look like the wheels have been nicked.

Cheers. Getting better now. Roll on the spring to get out on the bike.

Black rear foot pegs now added. Bought off eBay for £30 and powder coated for £15. Bargain. Just the black radiator panels to add soon.

Reggie...all is looking good except for your virgin-rubber...I already put on 4000 miles this season despite the scam-demic :D Love my bike despite still running a 19" cast wheel on the front and only having 136 hp...;)

And the final piece of the jigsaw. I bought a set of Standard 1250GS radiator covers and had them carbon wrapped. The guy did a superb job again. I think this is me finished now.

The absolute nuts

Have you left the original swing arm on it or changed it for the RS one to bring the rear wheel into line ?
im gathering the bits now to do the 17" conversion to mine ive got the RS swing arm and front wheel spacers sorted just waiting on a set of RS or RT wheels

Just the original. Never bothered me on the 7000 miles I put on my 2017 Rallye.

Quick update on this. My bike is sitting in the garage with 5382 miles on it. The best 5000 miles biking for me. It would have had another 900+ miles on it because I was meant to be doing Mizen to Malin Head this weekend but I have COVID.

It is a superb machine. I have done 345 miles getting lost going to Clifden. 291 miles frying a back tyre going to Inverness. And all in comfort. I’ve toured Donegal with the low screen and dodged the rain coming back from Dublin in full touring mode. They are brilliant.

I’ve tested the Pan America and will ride the Super Adventure R but more than likely will build a carbon wheeled GS Adventure if new colours are announced next month.

Here’s a few pictures from the last 5382 miles.

Don’t waste your time with the Super Adventure R; quicker but it’s not as planted or as composed as the GSA.

I like the idea off one with orange cast wheels.

Not sure about actual ownership. I’ll ride one and see what they are like.
