So the saga carries on.
Ill start at the beginning. Got the bike in feb this year. An 05 1150 gsa 39k miles. It had sat for 6 years untouched. I did new battery, new fluids, spark plugs etc and it started and ran lovely. The first thing to die was the hall sensor. New one, seemed fine. Then it began very difficul/impossible to start, so i gave it to a mechanic. after 15 weeks(!!!)at the bmw specialist i got it back because they couldn't sort it. After some advice i replaced all the fuel hoses inside the tank because after inspection they had completely corroded and cracked. And hey presto.... Started!!! I then replaced the injectors and coils.
Then the abs failed. So I bypassed the abs system. All seemed good. I have just ridden it for 2 days. About 200 miles. Today it died mid ride. The engine just stopped dead. Left me stranded again. Electrics all fine. Turns over but wont fire. Batterys fine. Pulled the spark plugs and they're sparking fine but totally dry even after many attempts to start it. Fuel is coming from the lines, fuel pumps working but the injectors are just dribbling fuel when i turn it over. These are brand new injectors. All parts from motorworks.
Im booked on the channel tunnel to ride to germany this week because my partner there has been hospitalised. Im utterly at the end of my tether with it but after spending sp many many hours and a fair bit of money on it im determined to sort it, and it seems lile it should be such an easy fix, but no one yet can do it. Any ideas would be very very welcome, thanks.

Liam at Motoshed in Portland is a former BMW franchise mechanic. 07966 532951. He might be able to help. There is another independent who is also a former CW mechanic here in Dorset who has been highly spoken of in these hallowed pages. Someone here will know his name and contact details. Good luck.

Thats who the bike was with for all that time....

You've got a dribble from the new injectors - I assume they were new & not used/re-furbs & that you have tested the signal with a test light.

Thus it seems you have inadequate fuel pressure for some reason - the bike conked out in a familiar fashion, so options are limited.

Is this any help? ........... https://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/391533-R1150-Fuel-System-Diagnostic-Tool

Yeah brand new injectors. And they are just barely dribbling. And the spark plugs are nearly white on the ends which looks like no fuel getting through. When i check the fuel hoses theres plenty of fuel coming through them. I cant really check the pressure though because pf lack of equipment and knowledge for that. It just seems the injectors aren't working correctly which might possibly be a sensor/electrical/ecu problem?

Try disconnecting the fuel return line.

This will give you maximum fuel pressure that the pump can put out as the fuel pressure regulator will be effectively inoperative.

Fuel injection needs to have fuel pressure on the fuel rail so that the injector can atomise the fuel for the very brief period that it is open.

If you don’t have fuel pressure, but fuel flow (which you say you have) then for the brief period the injector is open then you might see a small drop of fuel ( which you say you have ).

The fuel pump has an internal pressure valve to give you maximum fuel pressure. The Fuel pressure regulator mounted in the return line regulates the fanifold pressure.

From your symptoms.

Either your fuel pump is faulty, giving low or no pressure
Or
You have a split hose in the tank giving low or no pressure
Or
You fuel pressure regulator is faulty giving low or no pressure.
Or
You have a blockage between the pump and the injectors.
Or
You have no fuel in the tank.

Edit.
By the way, the injector is only a solenoid valve. If you put your finger on it as you crank the engine you should be able to feel it clicking.

No expert but have a hunch it’s to do with standing for 6 years. Is the tank rusted internally, filter blocked or somehow debris is getting through and blocking the new injectors.

Would somebody FFS lend this man a Bike to get him to Germany?!

Sorry - i cant help with the mechanics of it. I'm only following the thread as i had a similar problem as we were heading for the ferry for our first break since the start of COVID!
Mrs Og was understandably not happy.
We got to have our holiday, eventually, thanks to the combined efforts of some great help on here and in The Real World.

I wish you luck and hope you get the same kindness we did.
All the best.

p.s; with my Bike it was just the Hall Effect Sensor..... well, i hope that's all - i'm only getting to fix it (hopefully!) later this week.

I had a similar issue 2 years ago. It turned out to be a detached hose inside the tank. I had replaced them all 18 months (!) before, as a precautionary measure. Obviously I forgot to tighten one clamp was not properly tightened.
Maybe worth a check.

Yeah thats been the main issue, standing for so long. Ive done probably 300 miles on it since getting it 'working'. When i dismantled the fuel tank it was pretty clean actually but i cleaned it anyway, no rust.
I changed all the parts in there except the pump as its been working up until yesterday. I think this is the problem, maybe some debris from the old hoses got lodged in there.
Thanks

Yeah i replaced all them too. I think its the pump and a bit of the crappy old hose drew into the pump
