pc to mobile phone??

just recived 3 mp3 files of mobile ringtones by email, which is nice, but how, if at all, do i now transfer them to my phone, a bog standard no frills nokia??

Has it got an Infra red facility?

Has your PC got an Infra red facility?

In the past I have used a "Phone Manager" software I got from http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4222001# - need to choose your phone type etc

none other than charger!
no infra red on pc or phone as far as I can see!
think its a non starter....

If it's a recent Nokia maybe Bluetooth is an option. Bluetooth USB dongles for PCs can be had for about £10.

Note that your Nokia may not handle MP3. I had to convert the ringtone to a different format for mine.

Nokia PC Suite

I'm with Clive.

I use the NOKIA PC Suite with my bog standard nokia. Not always easy to see the infra red window on the mobile or PC though.

Note that your Nokia may not handle MP3. I had to convert the ringtone to a different format for mine.

That's the more important bit .....if you get stuck getting it on the phone you can always send it to a mate via email and getthem to SMS it to you- but if your phone can't handle the MP3 format that's useless.

What model is it ?

As noted above, once you have the correct format just SMS to phone.
