Wheatsheaf Inn
A368 Wells Road
Just west of Corston.
Zummerzet or it may be in BANES
No longer available.....
I can also recommend my Paula's excellnet bacon or sausage butties which are usually conjured up for our visitors, as a few folk on here may testify.
You're right, Richard's - the old owner - moved on and the current owner doesn't do breakfast. If you're in the Mendip area, head for Winscombe and stop off at The Pantry. I've put a review on Tripadvisor too.
Unfortunately this has now closed - ceased trading on Tuesday 29 Jan see:

Loomies Moto Cafe, on the A272 between Winchester and Petersfield.
Lizard Point cafe is my favorite, try the heva buns.....brill
others would include, Capt Jaspers, Plymouth,Great Torrington butty wagon,
the little tea room on the quay in Bude. Ocean BMW in Plymouth are pretty good too.
haldon cafe just outside exeter on the A380 torquay rd very satisfying just dont ask for a large mug of tea cos you'll be stopping for a pee for the next 24 hrs every hour !
Woodleigh Coachouse just off the A30 at Cheriton Bishop between Exeter and Okehampton. Very bike freindly, stays open till 10pm on first tuesday of the month for bikers.
Also Ritchies Diner (formally Caseys Diner) on Totnes road Paignton, about 1/4mile on from Morrisons heading into Paignton, best full english in Torbay.
10 mins off the MR near Exeter, this place has a great Deli and a posh Fish & Chips cabin which is awesome.
There is also a big outdoor shop.
I go here every year when we do a job at Westpoint just down the road.
