Looks like some chap has finally got around to narrating his trip nearly 60 years on
Thanks for posting
The African saying at the end is saddeningly true
Just arrived, I do like taking a little time looking over maps...
Thanks for posting that gem of a trip report.
After loads of trips I've come to the conclusion the best numbers for a trip are either solo or three people.
I wonder if any UKGSers would be interested in joining The 153 Club (Sahara) which includes both Morocco and the Sahara within its field of interest. Its collective experiences of wonderful independent travels across the Sahara, mostly in the '60s and '70s, is a real treasure. Please have a look at the club's website - http://www.the153club.org/153join.html
