My first impression was that it looks nice but then I noticed the headlight, bar end mirrors and back end and decided that ‘different’ sums it up pretty accurately.
A bit TRX850 ish too I’d say.
I had one of those many moons ago. A very sorry for itself, twice beyond economical repair write off on its second engine with stupidly loud ART exhaust cans fitted.

Very nice but of little use to the overweight old tossers that inhabit this Forum
I like that. Quite a brave design but I do like the look.
I’m warming to it.
The motor is a given, being the sublime CP3, the TFT dash is supposedly same as on my Tracer GT+.
If the clip ons aren’t as low as on the R7, this could be a cracking little plaything.
Yamaha are making some cracking bikes nowadays, returning back to their glory heydays 
MCN talk about the 'seat with pillion cover'. Interestingly, I don't think there are any pillion footpegs.

Legend Red is definitely the one to have as the grey looks a bit nondescript
Will definitely seek out the GP at EICMA in a couple of weeks .

I agree with MCN's comment about this resembling a TZR, in some respects.
This will, presumably, compete with the recently launched RD500lc lookalike kits for the XSR. In a way this feels more authentic to me - it certainly nods to a lot of Yamahas from that era, but it's its own bike rather than trying to mimic a specific model, if you know what I mean.
And yes, why would anyone order one in anything but the red and white?

That looks fabulous. And despite the racy looks, the riding position doesn't look too uncomfortable. How did the position feel?
I'd like to see Triumph do something similar based on the Street Triple 765 !
