I like the idea but the execution looks a bit awkward

I’m not actually sure how they could have executed it any better .I think it looks stunning in the flesh , especially the attention to detail such as the fairing struts.

yes, not seen it in the flesh, some bikes look totally different in pics, such as the Norden or the new GS
Incidentally, I got a bollocking off security at the NEC as a yoof for sitting on Rainey’s YZR500
I think it looks fabulous too. With a tail tidy, its looks would be 100% for me.

Needs the fag advertising, then it's perfect ... unlike Marlboro, which as I recall were horrible.
Just been watching a vid review of the new MT-09 and was surprised to see it has on screen nav courtesy of the Garmin Street Cross app which is free , unlike the Motorize app for the TMax, Tracer GT+ etc,which requires a subscription.
I then noticed in the app description that it’ll work on the GP too, so that’s a bonus.
