Since moving to France I have barely nad a moment to play with my '08 GS Adventure 😧
It was a workhorse, 150,000 miles of touring and commuting had its toll of the cosmetics. I rebuilt it at 120,000 miles with desert sand colour scheme on frame and panels.
The bike owes me nothing, it did sterling service taking me 55 miles to work, then back in summer and winter. The running costs were about half the price of a train season ticket and journey time a fraction of the rail journey. I won't be looking for top dollar.
Any ideas how to calculate a fair price ?
I re-registered here when we moved, hoping to have more free time. That did not happen and I need to stop paying out for the insurance, it is compulsory here even if garaged.
I remember reading on here many years ago about a breaker in Holland specialising in the GS that was always keen to offer and 2nd hand machines but cannot find that post. Anyone know who tbat was or can point me at the original post ?

It's probably still worth a few grand more than you'd get for it in the UK. If it owes you nothing, put it up for a couple of grand (euros) and see what happens. I bet someone takes your hand off.
