F800R Advice

All done on the bolt saga.

Although it wasn’t really a saga . It became one when someone said incorrectly that the missing bolts were there to secure the front of the rack , so new owner scoured the internet to source such bolts only to discover they played no part in securing the rack but were designed to be an anchor point for the side cases ( never fitted ).

Wife took it out this morning and loves it, and I can see why .
It’s a cracking bike to ride .
Proper old school clocks and the motor is sublime-seems quicker than my 800 GS was .

A service is due and I’m ordering a set of ContiRoad Attack 4s as the current tyres are past their best and the front is squared off . But it was a bit of a bargain I think .

New tyres fitted . Much better !!

And Richard Knobs fitted . Probably never use the bloody things but wouldn’t want people to get upset about missing bits

In order to stop certain people having a bit of a moment over missing items, you also need the lower pannier supports for the panniers that you don't have. Once fitted they can then tell you that you are missing the panniers for the bike. And so it goes on and on.....
