I’m looking at getting a new rucksack for an attempt at through hiking the GR11 trail across the Pyrenees.
My current pack is an Osprey Talon 44 which I’ve used on all of my walks/hikes since 2017.
It is excellent. However, with my full camping kit (all lightweight stuff) I’m finding it a tight squeeze getting everything in. I don’t like having stuff strapped on the outside of the bag.
I’ve been looking at the Osprey Exos Pro 55. More room but actually a lighter bag than my current one. I’m happy to buy another Osprey product.
Has anyone got one, used one, tried one? If so, what do you/did you think of it?
Before I commit I would be visiting somewhere like Cotswold outdoor to view, try and get fitted rather than buy online.
