75/5

Before and after,
I must say, some of the parts are cleaning up really well for a 50 year old bike:D

I see you have ball of cooking foil to help with the hard stuff; :D. .Looking forward to seeing this completed; my mate had a 75 and it was was a lovely well balanced bike; proberly the sweetest capacity engine wise.:beerjug:

I'll dig out my copy of a 1971 MCS that has a report of end to end run by two R75/5s, Mike. Would you like a copy to go with the bike?

Ball of cooking foil?? please explain. does it clean shitty crankcases? how do you use it. as my R100 rs are very grubby.
how does the breather come out of the rear bevel box as mine is rusty and needs replacing.

Regarding the paint colour, does it not effect the value not painting as it came out of the factory?
mad always look forward to looking at the rebuild photos and description

cheers Simon

Depends if it was originally painted in a now desirable colour I suppose.
I can’t say that the original scheme on this bike is anything special,
That’s one of the reasons it’s good to get a new owner on board early into a restoration.
They can then have it built to spec .:thumb
