Can you join tracks together in MyRoute?

….. There’s still not really a replacement for basecamp, even from Garmin, though.

As an example, I wanted to save the track from my recent trip. Unless you hit ‘record track’ the XT saves the tracks in segments. It took 5 minutes to import the tracks into Basecamp, join them, then save as a track per day. The track can then be turned back into a route. I don’t think this can be done in MRA.

You can stitch together routes in MyRoute but you cannot, as far as I know, stitch together tracks.

The only work around I know of would be to ask MyRoute to convert the separate tracks into routes. MyRoute can stitch routes together.

Yes, but it’s much easier in Basecamp.

Indeed, I was only offering up an alternative, as you told us you wanted to keep away from a home computer.

If nothing else, it might be useful for others.

True. Thanks, I did know you could join in MRA, I’ve used it on routes, and the split is quite good too, and as you said can be done on an iPad. Good for on trips.

Just if you are in front of the computer Basecamp is easier,
