Isn't he just.Are those cable ties around your wrists you mad fecker?
You are a one-man Guzzi saviour.
I did wonder just how the hell you did that - i've enough trouble with two good hands!... Trying to get the main stand washers & springs was a reet bitch..

cables;
my throttle is a short cable, into a junction box and two cables from there (under tank) to carbs.
Standard fitting.
EDIT: definitely standard - i got mine from Motomecca - just told them it was for the Cali 3 Fully Faired (maybe THAT'S the difference / longer cable? with the daft 1 metre wide handlebars)
fwiw - i use scooter brake cables for the clutch on my Cali 3. big eff off nipple at handlebar end / solderless nipple at the gearbox end.
Way cheaper than standard and handy for adjustment and fitting. Been using the same outer now for about ten years!
Suzuki: you did say.Trouble with mine Og is it's got suzuki switchgear, ...
And wouldn't want cheaply made cables snapping God knows where....
Never thought of pound shop nail Polish remover..
Thanks Pat..
GT85,a gallon of Gunk, cheap Artists paint brushs via eBay ( for touching up )
All the family's old clothes ( rags), all there old news paper's & cardboard to cover the bike lift...
And so many hours trying to get bits off / on with my u/s body especially my hands wrists.
Trying to get the main stand washers & springs on was a reet bitch yesterday evening ..
But so worth all the aches & pains, it's also good for the soul & realistically that not expensive.
Biggest cost will be for the bespoke throttle cables made by Venhill @ £63...
