Happy how to remove although the black and white connection electrical block will then be open to the elements. I have shrink wrap and electical tape although wondering if there is a blanking plate to slot into empty connector which will keep it clean and dry?
Im thinking of removing the BMW Sat Nav cradle completely?

I only fitted a 4-button cradle to my F650GS (800cc twin), when I found the factory connector it was open to the elements, so I guess it should be OK. However being over careful I would cover it in tape or heat shrink or something...and angle it downwards so it can't hold water/muck
