Conti Escape....

Anybody out there used the new(ish) Conti Escape tyres?

I know everyone raves about the Metz Tourance, but though the tread wear has been good, the handling went off after about 4000 miles....

They're still on the bike after 5 months and 9000 miles but they're all cracked on the edges, and the block type tread sure is a funny shape...the bike is getting all squirrelly on fast corners too..

I don't get to hoon around as much as I'd like on a weekend..so whats the best tyre for commuting?

Havent tried these yet but would like to do so. Busters have got em in 'v' rating at a good price.

Put one on the back today, looks like it might rain so if you don't here from me later, they're no good in the wet.

Yeah I know it's not recomended the mix tyre brands, but it's only the back one that's worn out. I not putting a complete set on if they are crap.
