My emailer has gone t!ts up:eek:
I'm using outlook on XP and can't seem to send any emails. It was working fine then just seemed to stop. I can still receive emails and when I run the accounts settings check everything seems fine (checking incoming and outgoing mail servers etc) untill it gets to sending the test message which fails.
When I try and send an email I immediately get a message from the system administrator saying "the following recipients could not be reached". I know the recipients addresses are OK
I'm on BT broadband but using a virgin mail account which seems to work OK when just using virgin webmail.
Any info or suggestions gratefully appreciated :)

You are relaying your mail and it (your mail provider & your ISP) don't like it. Maybe they did but they don't now and its common practice not to allow relaying.

You need to set your outgoing mail server (SMTP) to BT's one and not Virgin's. Or just use webmail for Virgin and it won't matter a jot.
